Baturaden located in the Central Java region is one of the famous Indonesia Java International Destination. This place is located in the foot of the Gunung slamet Volcano and is at a distance of 15km from the northern part of Purwokerto. This place is at an altitude of 650m above the sea level. The weather condition in this place is very cool and the breeze is also very enjoyable. The temperature that exists in this region ranges from 18 degree Celsius to 25 degree Celsius. Baturaden, an Indonesia Java International Destination, has a resort area which is surrounded by ponds, bungalow style hotels, green gardens and hot springs. There is a pine forest which is nearby the resort and there are markets located nearby and the view from the resort is splendid. Some tourists spend the entire day in this place by doing trekking activity in the natural forest and villages. The place always looks green and has natural water resources in the form of rivers and waterfalls which flow between the gigantic boulders of the toughened lava. The camping, trekking and hot spring are the main tourist attraction in this place apart from the recreation park named Loka Wisata Baturaden. This recreation park consists of children’s play ground with an Old Dutch merry-go-round, swimming pool, botanical gardens, water slide and hot water mineral spring.
